Gifts of an Eagle - The Book
"What a superb book....an outstanding story of one of the grandest creatures of nature, written with rare knowledge and understanding of the subject. It combines keen observation with a remarkable intimate relationship, so seldom found in studies of wild creatures. It should become a "classic." - Joy Adamson author of Born Free "A glad adventure into the fierce free world behind those golden eyes. Mr. Durden has found a way to hand us the friendship of a proud creature, and that's a gift rarely given..." -Richard Bach author of Jonathan Livingston Seagull Old copies of Gifts of an Eagle can be found on Ebay and Amazon. Gifts of an Eagle - The Film
Gifts of an Eagle, the film, is a a documentary made by Kent from original footage from the 1950's through the 1970's. Narrated by Kent, the film is a 75 minute story that will captivate audiences of all ages. This film maintains the d.i.y. and folksy feel that was ever-present with The Durdens. Kent was a natural story teller and could make any little incident an amusing and entertaining tale. Here he is narrating a film that he took on tour and narrated live for many years when he was a lecturer for The Audubon Society. Gifts of an Eagle is an old-fashioned feel good nature story that is engaging, dramatic, humorous and very touching. The DVD includes some extras including a fun short educational film made by Kent in the 70's about the life of a wildlife photographer. Available in the shop or on Etsy. |
